Special Characteristics: Cypress essential oil is a clear to slightly yellow liquid, with a pine-like aroma. Some of the compounds found in cypress essential oil are alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, alpha-terpinene, bornyl acetate, carene, camphene, cedrol, cadinene, sabinene, myrcene, terpineol, and linalool.

Applications: The therapeutic action of cypress essential oil is primarily astringent. It is used for the treatment of wounds, hemorrhoids (piles), as well as to inhibit excessive sweating (e.g., sweaty feet, menopausal hot flashes). Additionally, it is recommended for coughs and bronchitis.
