Description: Organic MCT oil, often referred to as “neutral oil”, is produced from organic Coconut oil using the fractionation method in which caprylic and capric acids are separated and extracted from the other coconut fats.

Special Features: Organic MCT oil is a colorless and odorless liquid and is composed of the medium chain fatty acids caprylic acid and capric acid.

Application in cosmetics: Organic MCT oil is an oxidatively stable oil with good dispersing properties. It improves the ability to apply emulsions, it is easily absorbed by the skin thus preventing the feeling of greasiness. It is especially suitable for irritated and sensitive skin and is used in skin care products, sun protection and more.

Food application: Organic MCT oil does not contain carbohydrates and is therefore suitable for a low-carbohydrate diet. Due to its neutral taste it is particularly versatile and can be used for spicy and sweet dishes such as salads, smoothies and desserts. It should not be heated to high temperatures in order to preserve its valuable fatty acids.
