Description
Description: The organic Wild Rose oil is produced from the seeds of the Rosa Canina rose by the cold pressing method.
Not to be confused with rose essential oil which is extracted from the flowers. Organic Wild Rose Oil, on the other hand, is a fatty oil from the seeds of the rose.
Special Features: The organic Wild Rose oil is an orange-red liquid with a characteristic aroma. It is unusually high in alpha-linolenic acid and very low in saturated fatty acids. Linoleic acid, trans-retinoic acid, beta-carotenes and vitamin A are found in smaller concentrations.
Application in cosmetics: Thanks to its composition of wonderful ingredients (such as linoleic and α-linolenic acid, trans-retinoic acid, β-carotenes, vitamin A and tocopherols), organic Wild Rose oil is said to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and regenerative action. Due to the high content of linoleic acid, rose oil is well tolerated by the skin, easy to apply while being absorbed quickly without leaving an unpleasant greasy feeling on the skin. Organic Wild Rose oil is used in care products for the face, eyes, hair, hands and nails. It can also be used as a body or massage oil and even in psoriasis ointments. Stressed, dry and chapped skin regains a radiant appearance with a velvety feel after applying the oil. Rosehip seed oil regenerates the skin, promotes the production of collagen in the connective tissue and helps retain moisture in the skin.
Food application: Organic Wild Rose oil is mainly used in cosmetic products. In small amounts, it can also be used to perfect and enhance desserts, salads and smoothies.
