Description: Organic safflower oil comes from safflower and is extracted in a mixture of 2/3 organic deodorized olive oil and 1/3 organic extra virgin olive oil. For 1 kg of organic olive oil, 400 grams of organic sedum flowers are used. The product is then filtered and stabilized with 1% tocopherol extract based on sunflower oil.

Special Characteristics: Organic Spatholado has a light brown to reddish color and a spicy-sweet aroma. It has a high content of oleic and palmitic acid due to the presence of organic olive oil. It also contains the anti-inflammatory and antiviral hypericin, the antibacterial hyperforin as well as antioxidant flavonoids, tannins or small proportions of skin-friendly sesquiterpenes.

Applications in cosmetics: Organic Spatholado is used to relax muscle tension, bruises or to heal wounds. It has a soothing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect on the skin due to its special ingredients. It can also be used as an adjunctive treatment for eczema. A massage with the oil has a beneficial effect and rejuvenates after exercise. It can be used directly on the skin as well as in dry skin creams or ointments. It is also ideal for after sun lotion.
