Description
Description: To create the organic Almond Oil, almonds are harvested in autumn, broken and the kernels are sorted, cleaned and bleached. The almonds are then cold-pressed to contain about 50% fatty oil. The gentle cold pressing process ensures the preservation of the oil’s valuable components.
Special Features: Organic Almond Oil is a pale yellow liquid and has a light nutty aroma. It mainly contains oleic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid.
Application in cosmetics: Organic Almond Oil is characterized by its very high content of oleic acid. Thanks to this Omega-9 fatty acid, the oil is deeply absorbed into the skin and has a nourishing and protective effect. The active ingredients can thus more easily pass through the stratum corneum (stratum corneum) and be transported to the skin. In addition, almond oil contains the antioxidant α-tocopherol, which protects the skin from free radicals.
Organic Almond Oil is suitable for all skin types due to its nourishing properties and high compatibility. Protects the skin from dryness and retains moisture. Sensitive skin is soothed, redness is reduced and regeneration is supported. It is used in a variety of skincare products and is also a perfect base oil for aromatherapy massage.
Food application: In the kitchen, organic Almond Oil is used for salads, vegetable dishes and, due to its fine almond flavor, for desserts and pastries. Due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, it is suitable for frying, but in fact too valuable for this.
