**Description:** Ravensara essential oil is obtained from the leaves of the Ravensara Aromatica plant through steam distillation.

**Special Characteristics:** Ravensara essential oil is a yellow liquid characterized by a sweet, fruity scent reminiscent of eucalyptus. Its components include limonene, sabinene, isoledene, estragole, β-caryophyllene, β-myrcene, α-terpinene, α-pinene, and linalool.

**Applications:** Ravensara essential oil is particularly effective in treating upper respiratory system problems such as bronchitis, sinusitis, rhinopharyngitis, as well as more serious conditions like tuberculosis or pneumonia. It is also recommended as a potent flu antibiotic. Additionally, it is ideal for fighting viral infections such as herpes, shingles, mononucleosis, and hepatitis. It is considered an excellent tonic, rejuvenating the body from physical and nervous exhaustion, calming anxiety, and nervousness. Finally, due to its muscle relaxant and analgesic properties, it soothes headaches and significantly relieves muscle aches, cramps, and rheumatoid arthritis pains.

Ravensara essential oil blends very well with: clove, eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, cajeput, lemongrass.
